Scholarships and Money
We understand that funding your studies can be a major issue in deciding to come to University. We try to help by providing a number of Department Scholarships and the University offers Scholarships for Overseas students. There are also University of York bursaries for UK students and other sources of funds.
The Department is an invited member of the UK Electronics Skills Foundation (UKESF). This is a collaboration between major electronics companies and the public sector, working with universities to promote the electronics industry. It offers a range of scholarhips that include annual bursaries, paid summer work placements and industrial mentoring and may include 12-month sandwich placements.
