Research Objectives
Scientific and technical fields of work are:
Neuro-rehabilitation based on selective stimulation of autonomic and motor nerves using multi-electrode spiral cuffs, autonomic innervation of internal
organs and glands, especially pancreas and cardio-vascular system, ENG and EMG recordings, design of stimulating/recording multi-electrode nerve cuffs, biomechanics, processing of biosignals, and electrode/tissue interface.
Research management and strategy activities:
Investigation of possibilities in selective stimulation of autonomic nerves and ganglia. Current interest is selective stimulation of nerves
innervating cardio-vascular system, glands and other organs to improve their function in disease and recording of ENG.
