Welcome!

We are a research and teaching group within the Department of Electronics here at the University of York. Our goal is to invent and exploit theory, technologies, algorithms and tools that enable audio, video and new media systems to offer immediacy, realism and naturalness in interaction with humans.

The group’s activity is based in three main laboratories:

- Interaction lab
- Music technology lab
- Visual systems lab
