ARTIST are pleased to be organising a 3rd workshop on Artificial Immune Systems. Following on from the success of our previous workshops, this workshop will be focussed on two aspects. The first will be an opportunity for people to present their work as a poster (and or computer demonstrations), the second will be on the future challenges for AIS research in general. This is an excellent opportunity to find out the latest advances in AIS research and contribute to the discussions as to where the area should go next.
People are asked to contribute by preparing a poster (A1 size max), outlining their research over the past few years. The idea is that the posters are not exclusively technical, but rather summarise ideas and possible future work. These will form the basis of group discussions on the first day. The second day will begin with a panel session. Each panel member has been asked to speak for 20 minutes on the current state of AIS research and where they think it should go next. Panel members have been taken from the ARTIST executive board, but they also reflect a wide range of backgrounds and opinion, so it should get very interesting! The afternoon will then be dedicated to discussions and focus group formation based on the panel discussions.
A main objective of the workshop is for attendees to make contacts and establish working relationships with other researchers in the area, with a view to future collaborations.
Panel members are:
